Hello, and welcome to my website,My name is Douglas Knight and i am a ISSA certified personal trainer.I decided to make this site with one goal in mind, helping those who are looking to get started making a change in there lives. Quite a few years ago i decided to change my life through proper diet and nutrition. Like many of you,when i got started i did not know what to do,I joined the gym and started doing whatever i saw other people doing,seemed like the right thing to do."WOW" was i wrong!! After a few months of people watching and some long hours in the gym,i made a little headway but i wanted it "NOW". Then one of the BIG guys came up and said to me "Dude what the heck are you doing" your all over the map and your form is a mess.. "I did not know what to say".. So he kinda took me under his wing and showed me what i was doing wrong.After he taught me how to do the exersises correctly, i felt like i knew it all...but he was really making it happen in there and i was not moving along nearly as fast,so i asked him,"what am i doing wrong" The first thing out of his mouth was "So whats your diet like"... I told him what i was eating and i thought his jaw was gonna hit the floor ! Thats when i started to learn the basics of a good diet. Don't ya know once i made the right changes in my nutritional needs and supplements I was off to the races. I wish i had the internet to turn to when i was just getting into it. When i got started dieting and working out there was no internet to turn to for great information,guys like me just joined a gym and did what the other guys were doing. We had no clue what to do ,how to do it ,what to eat ,or when to eat it..allof the stuff that gets you where you want to be. So after years of trial and error,working like an animal in the the gym and doing carido till we could'nt stand up, i decided to ask for some help from some of the guys at the gym who seemed to know what they were doing.After a few months of listening to what they had to say and doing the things the way they told me to..i was on my way!! Thats not to say that i didn't learn anything while on my journey, but once i learned how to motivate myself,and use my diet andnutritionthe right way things came much faster. I also came to the realization that the bascis never change,no matter where in the country i went the ones who new the most about nutrition got the results they were looking for.
